Philip Treacy Times Five!

So much talk about the royal wedding! I was never really in the hoop about it. I had to make a posting on the wedding with my top five favorite hats!!!

Even though the live coverage here in Italy, which is an all day event, went on a little long. I was certainly happy to see all the beautiful hats!!

Then Victoria Beckham- much of the commentary in the news wondered how the hat was angled in such a manner, and stayed on her head:

As a milliner, I enjoyed watching the snippets of the all day live coverage of the Royal Wedding.

This show would have been awesome to see in person!!!

Junya Watanabe- Spring/Summer 2010 -Paris.

Two things called my attention to this collection:

1. The variation of hat styles.

Every model walked down the runway wearing a hat!

2. The combination of fabrics.

Also, vests and hats are always classy!
It would be nice to see more men wearing them everyday!

I am familiar with the book, "Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats" by Michael Cunningham. It is visually amazing for any hat lover!

I recently found out that various stage productions have been made stemming from this book. Take a look!
